Diesel yerf dog update: now with videos
Well, as promised here are some pics. I had to modify the engine mount, also created 2 "shims" out of 16 ga to get the chain to clear. I had to grind the tav2 backplate down as well because it won't mount in the traditional direction. I added another spring on the throttle shaft so I can shut it off by simply pulling up with my toe on the pedal. Now that I know it runs, and runs well, it's time to get it rolling and stopping well. My front left A-arm is bent and the tie rod rubs the shock... And, my tires are bald. I learned the hard way that it wont pull through a mudhole with bald tires. It does climb niceley though. Anyway... here ya go. Ill post some vids soon too.

I just love a diesel. I might try to convert one to a diesel one of the days. I have a 10 horse yanmar clone that would be a fun project. Do you have any video of it running?

I'll get some posted tomorrow. It was too much fun driving it to post any vids today =) If you run a yanclone, you might want to look into a genuine yanmar crank (i hear the clones aren't too sturdy) Also, I think the l70 is about as much as I would ever put behind a tav2, so look into a 40 series or even a snowmobile converter.
