Default Joyner 250cc part called poker

Anyone know if you can get a part made/fab? I have a buddy that bought a Joyner 250cc dirt devil. He need's a part for the gear box called a poker dn250.08.106 is the part #. when he put's it in reverse it start's to move then spin's. look's like the previous owner's must of snapped it as it was welded and they didn't put it in the right spot so when you engage the reverse it doesn't push the gear all the way over. I don't know if he can adapt a different gear box or not. below is the picture he sent me.

I Finally Got all of the Part's out of the gearbox. here is the part's i think he need's to replace. Don't know if there is a machine Shop that can make em or not. maybe since joyner might be coming back maybe they will make/stock them again i don't know. I thought it was the poker but since looking at the other part's i think it might be these. there is a spot were one of the teeth or whatever it's called is missing and the other is warn down some. Was told that these might of been pressed and made out of powder metal

man those look a lot like the gears out of a lower unit on a outboard engine i would take them to a outboard repair shop and see if they can match some gears to them. P.S. dont tell them it is for a buggy gear box. just tell them its for a old outboard motor your grandpa had or something along that line

Joyner will not be restocking those parts. As Glade and others said once before that unit is obsolete and discontinued. To be honest having those parts custom made will be much more than Cpt. Howdy's buggy is worth. I would suggest him looking for a buggy with a blown motor and utilizing the motor in it if his funds are limited. Sorry for the brutal truth but this topic has been sugar coated on 2 forums for quite awhile now. There is a reason that buggy and that design was discontinued and obsoleted and the pieces you hold in your hand are why.

Yeah I finally figure that. I just feel Bad For CaptHwdy that he got a buggy he can't use. Was told he could use a gearbox form a HH GT250. but i can't find a pic of the back end of the buggy or even what the gear box look's like. I think that would be the best bet. but i guess it's up to him.

A CN250 reverse assembly with matching final transmission output shaft could be used on that engine, but you would most likely have to relocate the sprocket on the axle to line up with the new drive sprocket. Once the conversion was done, parts would be common if they broke or wore out.

I'm in nc but any Amoco transmission shop they say they love a challenge well they got one but now buggy backs up a 90 degree hill and keeps pulling I can't believe the power that's what I hear that other gear box can't handle
