Default Appalachian Buggy

I finally did it. I've initiated the sequence of events that will result in a 2 seat, high powered, off road buggy for me and the boy to pound around in. Picked up a polaris trail boss really cheap. Engine is toast, but everything else is in super condition. The tear down begins this weekend. Will post some pics as soon as I have something tangible to share.

The polaris engines are excellent candidates as well. Usually automatic and right side chain drive. be sure to post progress!

Default A change in plans

Just when I thought I had it all planned out, a great deal lands in my lap and changes everything!! Picking up a 2005 Yerf Dog 150cc 2 seat buggy tomorrow afternoon. The planned disassembly of the Polaris 4 wheeler is no longer in the mix..think I'll put a 4 stroker on it and let mama ride it...she likes the automatic

Let us know how it performs when you get it all together- That's good use of an engineless 4-wheeler!

I got it all welded up last night. I was pleased with how it turned out..though I should have taken a little more time thinking through the mounting of the rear section where the lower control arms bolt on. I may change it before it's all finished

I'll post pics soon! It's still at work, and I keep forgetting to bring my camera.
