absolute noob to the kart world
Hey everyone! Like the title says i am new to the Kart world, but I am ambitious in learning. It started a month ago when I wanted to get rid of a broke down boat and traded for the first thing that came along....which happened to be a yerf! Since I believe I have become addicted. Currently it is all stock down to the broken ball joints (which from what I've read is a comment thing). Besides the obvious HD ball joints what should be my first upgrade? I ride wooded trails here in sw Florida. Anybody have any suggestions? Before responding I should warn you I have never been the "work on it yourself" kind of guy, but I want to learn so just be extremely specific. Thanks for anybody who responds!

well these are great things to learn on when it comes to fix it yourself.
What you should do to it first is get it running and dirt worthy and see where you are at from there. Be warned that you are probably going to get "the bug" now. These things are a lot of fun! |

As for "the bug", in the past month and a half we have been out every weekend on it and was actually reading posts on this site long before I joined. This seems to be very addictive which is a nice change in pace and quite enjoyable to read everyone's posts. This morning I was trying to compare heim joints vs HD ball joints. Any opinions? How difficult would the conversion be and would the difficulty out weigh the performance? |
