Default mak'n the yerf tough

Well just shelled out $370 for a Buggy Depot HD axle and a set of stage 2 rear shocks.Hopefully this will take care of the axle problem.Oh yeah I have a question for all the yerf guru's,how do i get rid of that safty brake thing that wont let the buggy start without hitting the brake?Any help would be sweet.

Theres a pressure switch in your brake system. Tie the wires together.

There is a safety switch at the master cylinder. unplug the wires and connect together to bypass the switch. luckily they wired it with male/female connections so it's a simple matter of unplugging the switch , then connecting the leads together.

After disconnecting the safety switch you can use it as a brake light switch. If you were to mount a tail/brake light on the rear and connect the tail light up in the normal fashion to your light switch than run a wire from the brake light to that switch than come off the other side of the switch wit another wire running to your light switch when you hit the brake you will now have a break light. Not familiar with that shock. Could it be air charged? The shocks on my yerf are not adjustable, does yours have adjustment? TOM

have never used the BD shocks but they are for sure better than the stock shocks. those were no more than springs with a damper. I use WORKS shocks, pricey but very good. I like your rear wheels, what brand are they?

that is looking great! I bet those tires are excellent in the snow. We had similar on our first helix last year in the snow and loved them.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. The shocks seem pretty good,a much better ride. What like about them is that they are "plug n play"no brackets and they dont stretch the buggy way out.Yes they are adjustable. The rear wheels are 10"IPT with 20" holeshots. The axle I put on was pretty easy, and what i like about it is that it's wider then stock. Not only is it much stronger but I think it looks sweet to.
