Default Hello From Ohio

Hi all! I purchased a used Carbide 150 late last year. Didn't get it out much last year but have gotten more use out of it so far this spring. Everything is stock at the moment other than an added winch and new lights. Loving this thing to death on some new trails we've found. Can't wait to learn more here!

Welcome Carbide to a very cool web site. Lots of info and help from a net work of buggy tuners. We try to help out with our experiences and confirmed repairs and results.

I used to ride a YZ250 dirt bike and have more fun with my Baja dune 150 with my wife and son in there modified dune 150.

Haven't found much around locally yet that is Buggy friendly. Currently riding some small trails with my son along the Great Miami River until we find something better.

Holiday is a privately owned campground where people own lots with whatever kind of camper they decide to put on them. Its great for young kids and teens. You use to be able to have atvs up to 100cc and golfcarts up there. We use to snowmobile up there a lot in winter back in the late 90s. Its more like a getaway campground resort, with its own fishing lake, 2 pools, rec center, etc. lots of stuff to do. Im sure there are plenty of riding trails around that area though. You could try Pymatuning state park. Good place to camp and take the kids.

Any of you Ohio guys good at wrenching on these little buggies I bought a Sunl 150cc buggy for my wife and daughter but it smokes, it looks brand new and I figure parts are cheap but it seems every time I start working on something i break something else, my fat hands wasnt made for them lol but if anyone close to Dayton or Cincinnati or even Columbus that works on these I would pay you for your time Im looking to check compression and see if I need rings or valves and would also like to install a different spring and rollers in the transmission so it will climb a little better

Sorry, but I'm on the lake. You'd have to travel pretty far to get up to me.

Unfortunately I'm not a fisherman. If you want to do 60 MPH across the water on a 10' boat (PWC) I'm your man.
