Looks pretty good. Can't wait to see what it looks like what you've gotten the frame done and the 350 on it.

awwwman...I thought you were gonna buy, trade for the GSXR engine to go INTO the buggy, and get 'er done.
I didn't know you was swappping across....bummmmmer, big time. Just be careful, I've lost severral freinds to and on GSXR's....they can be an animal, and eat you alive.

What happened to the windshield at the end of the first vid? It may be slower! but I'm impressed at how fast that the 150 pushes all that steel. Been meaning to ask if you got your design idea from Sinister buggies? Can't wait to see the IRS rearend and power-plant finally go in.

At the very end of the first vid it looks like the windshield is shattered as you pull up to the building.

no new vids or pic,no real up dates.well it got a fire wall, witch was nice to keep the heat and dust out.with body panels it would get hot real fast inside and it seemed to suck dust in side the cab.
got an old file cabinet for the sheet metal and cut a template out of poster board.it was a very easy mod to do and it turned out nice.

Cool. I was hoping to see any video from the outside. This way we can see the suspension work and compare it to the rear. You did a great job on the build! Congrats!

thanks!still a lot more to go,we will cut every thing off from the cab back and rebuild it when the other motor and irs goes in.
the shocks work great and cheep ive seen them for 35 for a pair.in the vid there are straps to limit travel to 8-10''becouse the steering rack is to long, with more travel the bump steer gets to bad.with the right rack it has 15'' or so of travel.in the pic there no straps on

no one has any that i know of from out side.the front works a lot better than the rear swing arm.

Few questions. Have you driven it with 2 adults? Curious how the shocks hold up with the weight of 2 adults.
Did you set up the shocks with a compressor or do you just fill up according to the driving you are doing? Do the shocks have a valve on them or do you need to run lines to a valve.
Do you rememeber the part number of the shocks you got? I found them on Summit Racing but not sure which part number has the 9" of travel it doesn't give travel specs.

Also did you use the stock steering rack?

yes two adults have been a lot of times, and thay work great.thay are for a 88 dodge truck i think.so i dont think you will break them on a buggy the top eye has a 3/4 bolt.the thang to look for is,on some the bottom of the shock doese not have an eye hole thay have like a bolt to mount it.you want the ones with an eye hole on both ends.
air compressor works fine to air them up,and just play with the psi until it rides how you want it to.thay come with air line and every you need but the bolts.
right now it has the stock steering rack,i cut it shorter but its way to long for how the buggy is built.thats why it has limit straps to keep bump steer to a min.it needs a center mount rack.

Thanks For the quick reply.

Try in shoot some outside video of the buggy doing a fly by to see how the suspension looks from bystandards.

i dont think there will be any vids until after the 2nd part of the build.
you have a better view in the vid of the shocks than you would have in a drive by.this way you can see more of it.
are you going to build or rebuild a buggy?

Im rebuilding my friends busted front end of his Roketa, but it has a Briggs engine instead of the stock. I'd like to do a complete cage rebuild but not sure he wants to spend the money. I build cages, rockcrawlers, and metal fab for a living. Which is why your buggy caught my attention. I'll see if i can link to what im working on.
