Hello from Florida.
I like your site. It appears there are quite a few Buggy Nutz like me. I have a Tomberlin Crossfire 150R buggy, that after performing many upgrades, cant leave it alone. The newest parts that we will assemble for this Howitt GY^ 150 are a 62mm cylinder, large valve head, a massive 8mm stroker crank, offset key, 30 mm carb, MRP racing exhaust, Oil cooler and catch tank, racing CDI, DR2 variator and racing clutch, and many different weights. I have a A-9 cam but cannot decide if i need a A-12 or something else instead. I will let you know how it goes.

Stroked Crossfire
This buggy screams and will run quick, but I have a overheating problem when it is run over 10 to 15 minutes. I probably should have gone water cooled or installed a larger engine I am trying to correct this problem.

What temp is it reaching? Is the plastic shroud installed incasing the engine? Do you have any pic?

Do you have the plastic shrouds on the motor? I ran basicly the same motor in the same buggy for a good while and never had a problem. Actualy a ran more than that. The motor is still going strong
