Default Good Morning, guys.

New member here.

Great site. I'll be by daily. Just bought a used (really good shape) Helix 150cc this weekend.

Last month my wife and I bought our first home. A 3.5 acre horse ranch, sans the horses.

This buggy is my first toy for the land, and I love it!

I have a few questions, but I put them in the correct forum.

Very cool site!

Helix is a great machine. PS your front tires are on backwards.

Welcome to the site!

Welcome to the forum. I'm Josh. Nice Helix by the way. How bright are the lights? I put a set of 55w halogens in mine.

They're super bright. They light-up about 10 feet wide, 6 feet long. Got them from Pep Boys. LED 45 bucks.

I'm relocating this morning. My friend rolled the buggy and bent the hell out of them. Didn't break though!!

I have the box at home. Let you know tomorrow.

On a side note. Am I missing something on my air intake?

You shiould get rid of that whole setup and replace with either a UNI or K&N filter, rejet the carb and open the exhaust. You will get much better performance.

So, If I open the exhaust, I don't really need to buy a new one, right?

I'd just have to buy the new filter, and parts to rejet, correct?

Correct, the stock one will do just fine. Now if you decide to mod. the engine such as cam, big bore, or ported and polished head you would than have to upgrade the exhaust to a performance one.

Great. Thanks a lot.

So, after finding all this out, please revise my shopping list to:
-What ever I need to rejet the carb
-Throttle cable
-Steering ty-rod
-New air filter setup
Please let me know what I need to do to pay.
