Default hammerhead CF moto carb questions

i need some verification guys. learn me...learn me........lol
i'm looking at replacing my stock keihn CV 30mm carb with one of the 32mm keihn pumper carbs. questions are:

1. Are there any linkage, plumbing mods that will need done?
2. Will i also need a different or bigger intake boot?
3. Can i use my existing choke since it has the correct harness hook-up in case the new one doesn't match up?
4. Is there an upgrade (larger mm) intake available to get more air flow?

i think that covers it. let me know and thanks.....

There are 2 type Keihn 32mm carbs, the one with the auto choke and one with a manual choke. The manual choke type will need a differant accel cable. Both carbs will be rather difficult to get into the intake due to its larger size of 34mm vs, stock of 31mm. I have known plenty of people who use them but many times your boot will crack due to the stress of streching. If your buggy is stock I mean no big bore cam ect you would in my opinion be throwing money away. 30mm carb is more than enough for a non modded 250 engine. I have the large cam in mine with my ported head and the stock carb is fine. Now I anticipate that when I install by big bore I will need a larger carb probably like a 34mm. I will have to make a manifold for it though due to only stock intakes being available. Until you add a cam, ported head, and big bore go with what you have. TOM

thanks tom. i thought i would possibly gain some initial throttle response by installing the pumper carb. a little extra kick on take-off.
i have one coming and i might try it just to see what it does (since i already ordered it). i got a real good deal on it so if it doesn't prove itself i'll just sell it.
