Default reverse problem

I have a Twister z150r with external reverse that wont engage - checked linkage to be sure it was woking, pulled gearbox apart and cleaned old grease and gunk out -shifter fork wasnt moving full travel with gunk behind it- cleaned and got full tavel with shift lever-put it back together -still wont go in reverse sets there in neutral while rev up engine (GY6) all gears looked good with no wear--HEELLPP!

Default Yup!

I had the same problem with one of my buggy's with the external reverse, you just gotta keep "tweeking" them to get it just right, but once you get it you got it!!! be patient!

tried cable tension-pulls shifter fork all the way back against gear case-tried all positions from barely moving shifter fork to against gearbox case-no help- tried idle from barely running to about 1500 rpm,s with same results -I'm at a total loss now
