Default Dazon front strut repair

I needed to replace the front steering struts on the Dazon single 150. The upper and lower ball joints were bad . The problem was that the single uses alot shorter struts than most everyone else. This was a real problem Dazon is no longer in bussiness . I searched on line for the measurements that were being sold ,no luck no match. I went to the Blade and Kinrode sites and noticed their struts on the single was similar.Kinrode made most of single frames for other makers. I called Tom @ SYC and discussed this with him . He said he would check and measure all the my specs to his. A few days later he called back and said it looked like it was a match.
The struts he sent me had thick cast spindles instead of welded metal plate. The strut tubes were alot thicker too. All the holes were correct and the front end alignment was now perfect.
If you are having this problem call Tom @ SYC !

Default The man, as always!

I've got two of the 2004 Dazon 150 singles, and Tom is my go to man for any parts on them, he has a full working knowledge of the machines, and they are closely similar to the blade 150's, not to metion that he is just a hell of alot of fun to talk too!!!
