I've owned

4 traxxas 4tecs
2 traxxas stampedes
1 losi rc18 brushless, metal axels, hubs, 4c lipo (aprox 70mph!)
2 traxxas tmaxx
1 Losi lst2
and my baby, the 3.3 Jato

(my daily driver is an '04 STi, seriously)

Lst2, Jato, Rc18

Rc18 w/mamba brushless, lipo, and spectrum receiver.

At this point I've sold the lst2, and all the spectrum radio gear. I still have the Jato, with oem radio, and the rc18 in parts, w/o a radio.

Me too. I have a Duratrax Cliff Climber, Ofna LX One, Walkera 4 3b, and an Exceed RC Raptor G4. My dad has a HPI 5B clone, Ofna Hyper 7 PBS, HPI Savage, Walkera something, and a T Rex 450.

When I lived in Brooklyn I use to watch the guys race them in the School yard. Quick little monsters. One of my brothers friends was a fanatic about them, he had at least 2 with him everytime he went camping.

But he would use half his paycheck putting them back together when he got home.

Sorry for digging up an older post. I got into RC when the fullsize offroad hobby got too expensive. I started in rock crawlers and moved on to faster electrics. Never owned a nitro but would like to scratch build a gas powered car using a chainsaw engine, poor mans Baja 5B/T.
