Unfortunately this is your only option unless you re engineer the front end to use a replaceable ball joint but then your time and money will be more expensive.

I do not know much about it's history, It ran with a jump start and a shot of starter fluid, since then I have put in a new battery, a new coil wire and a electronic choke. It's had about an hour of run time on it since I picked it up, noticed the wheel was tilted out, figured it was a ball joint, did not know really, but was looking around the forums and ran across this thread which has me concerned, since I could not just google a replacement part.

Sorry about the multiple posts, I still do not see the pictures and do not see a delete button for my posts either.

Thanks,

There is a link in your post to flikr with the pictures. Because of the angle of the picture it is hard to be 100% certain but it appears the left wheel is cambered out, the right looks OK. It also appears looking at the front shot that the left lower control arm is not arched as the right control arm. But as I said this could be due to the angle of the picture. I would look at both lower control arms and compare to each other. The lower arms should have a downward arch. It appears from the pics the left arm could have struck something bending it up thus pushing the lower out. Compare the arms to each other, they have to be identical. Also measure each arm for total length, I'll bet the left is longer. I should still be able to get parts for the Helix.
