New guy from Mississippi Gulf Coast
Looking for a good used two seater for my 10 and 12 yr olds. Came across a non-running Carter Talon that is in otherwise new condition. I was pleased to learn that Carter was an American company but then learned they've been out of business since 2010. Search revealed that many parts are interchangeable with other buggies. I'm an experienced mechanic and amateur fabricator so not much scares me but I'm still leery of a buggy from a defunct company. Any advice is appreciated.

Honestly the drivetrain is fairly universal. Where you would find problem may be in certain chassis pieces but even those you may find to be universal on a Talon.
I wouldn't be scared off of it just because Carter burned down. Welcome to the forum! |

Welcome to the forum! buggymans right about the Carter's if u have any issues or need any advice the 1st place to start is with Tom @ sycpowersports, there header is at the top of our page, he's an encyclopedia of info and parts on all things buggy! & remember workin on em is half the fun!
