Default Starter or noid???

Half to push start button many times before it turns over. Some times like 8 times. But once get started, and warms up, seems to turn over right away. Or with only one extra hit.
Thinking this might be the noid. Or could it be starter?
They both few years old. But have replacement for both already, knowing they can go out pretty quickly, and worst times.
Guess can do just both. But if nothing wrong with starter, rather just leave until need to replace.

Sounds more like a bad connection, or a bad switch.

Jump the starter solenoid, if it works every time, then it's probably not the starter.

Thinking you right. Brand new switch. But not like never bought something new, but was bad.
Changing out switch in that thing is such a pain. Have very little room. The steering bar is in the way. And how the back side of colum is, it's a pain to get a wrench on the back nut for the switch.

Try this: Take the wires off of the switch and touch them together (do it a couple of times). If it turns over fine every time they make contact, the problem is the switch. If not the problem is somewhere else.
