Default Helix 150cc for sale

This little buggy is ready to go, it has a new rebuilt top end with new piston, rings, jug, head, and valves in it. I have just finished the 2 tanks of gas to break it in. It also has a brand new seat, new spark plug, and new power box cover which I have not put on yet. The only thing wrong with it is the tires are worn pretty bad and will leak down [not all] over the week, while sitting. It holds air fine to ride it. I also have a new set of rear brake pads to go with it. Best time to reach me is at my home phone number which is 864-575-2878 between 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, week days and 12pm to 10pm weekends. E-mails and questions welcomed. please no calls after 9 pm during the week. thanks zman asking price is $700.00 because all you do is get on and ride. ready to go.

I too like the looks of the Helix, I think it is the body panels.

I would make an offer, but no $$ and no more room till something is finished, lol.

I can see why they get such good reviews, this little buggy is awesome in handling and power wise. I know it would outrun the stock crossfire , but it would have a harder time with the 150R. I am not a big man but I just like the more room in the crossfires.

Hey zman! Funny thing is, I was browsing my local CL, and I see this picture of a Helix, and I thought back to your post here, I look at the pics, and I'm like "WOW! This looks kinda similar!" And now I realized it, I found your CL ad, LOL!

I would like to look at it, the issue is you are about 2.5 hrs away. I just went 1hr 45m south to go look at a Crossfire 150r today, and it STUNK. But even the 1hr 45m was PUSHING it for travel....

Do you have a trailer or something so we might be able to meet halfway sometime soon?

I can understand how you feel about traveling and then being disappointed. The problem is if I meet you halfway and then you decide you don't want it, I have lost about $50 at the least in gas and also my time. If you to decide to buy it at my asking price I would still be out the gas money and time. I don't really have to sell this cart. I was just going to sell this one and the crossfire with no reverse and maybe find a 250cc for sale. I had a couple last Sat. come by and try out this cart and they said they would be back this coming week to get it, but you and I both know how that goes. lol

LOL. Do you mean later this week? Maybe not meet us halfway, but maybe you could meet us around Townville? That would have us drive 1 hr and 45 mins, and you would drive about 50 mins...?

I would LOVE to check it out (of course, no promises on a purchase) but I was wondering if you could find SOMEWHERE to meet us to cut a good amount of travel time off our trip...

(the "our" I am speaking of is my dad and I) (and townville is about 50-60 miles from you, if 50 miles = 50$ of gas, I would LOVE to know how you got that tank street legal! )

That sounds great, but I can't come today, and since I am still in school, mon-fri can't work.... Even if I tried to come today, U-Haul isn't even open. LOL. I would be stuck. We need to rent a trailer, and we will buy one later on...

I don't know how many people are looking at it, but if it isn't sold by Sat, I would LOVE to come check it out!
(on a side note, how tall are you and how well do you fit inside of it?)

thanks

LOL. Good. I am 6'1 and I hopped into a Crossfire 150R the other day, and I had a REALLY hard time trying to tell myself that I would be able to get into it every day and be happy. Do you have anyone else looking at it? I am interested, but my issue is that I cannot look at it until next Saturday...

you sure that crossfire seat was pushed all the way back because I have 2 of them and I think they have more leg room.

It was definitely pushed back. But that wasn't the "killer" for me. The thing had rust EVERYWHERE the picture didnt cover. Lol. So is anyone else checking your kart out?

Depending on the 3 wheeler, they are worth some cheddar down here. Like $1500 for honda big red with all the plastics.

Hey Zman, the freak accident I mentioned in the PM happened. The @sshat decided he was gonna lie to us about not being available and sell it to someone else....

Is your's still available? And are you able to drive an hour to meet us? My mom is taking me....and she won't go very far...

Shame.... Again, planning to meet a guy with a Spiderbox (looks like it has the even front A-Arms!) and hope it works out. Again, if this goes awry, I'll see if I can drive to you, zman. Thanks and good luck selling!
