Sunl 250cc liquid cooled...need diagram/manual!?
Hey all, new to the forum. I just acquired a Sunl 250cc liquid cooled go kart. That about all i know how to identify it. the term GY6 comes up a lot when i search this. All sorts of parts come up. Does gy6 just refer to the carb or what. Also the kart isn't running, and a lot of the hoses to the carb are not hooked up. If someone could send me a pdf link to a manual or a diagram showing where all these hoses connect to that would be great!...Also there is one hose that I have no idea where it goes. one end is connected to the air box, and the other end is connected to the transmition/clutch. Right in the middle of the hose there is a T fitting with another hose that comes off of it. I think that it is just a breather hose, but it has a hose clamp on it which makes me think that it needs to be connected somewhere...So again thats why I need a diagram...Thanks a lot, please help me out...

The 250 engine you have is a CN250 - It is a copy of the Honda Hellix engine.
Shop manual: http://mpsracing.net/helix-manual/ The GY6 is an air-cooled 150cc which does not have parts that cross over to the CN250. |

Any one know where to get a copy this manual. Link is dead. I need to tear my carb and clean and want to get it back together right...

I am having problems with my radiator fan. I have figured out how to check my thermal switch. I am assuming the voltage for the electric fan is 12v. can anyone confirm that for me?

I let my son's friend drive this and he jumped it. It rolled and died. Since then jiggling wires in the main looms made some contact but it will not stay running. I hate wiring. There is a major short somewhere that shuts off all power like a switch. Any ideas?

If the engine cranks check the coil wire going to the spark plug and the wires going to the coil. Had a lot of trouble with the coil wires on my GK-06. Finally cut off the connectors and installed my own and the engine fired up. If it doesn't crank you may have a blown fuse...not sure if there is a circuit breaker. My Buggy has a fuse in the starter relay. If that fuse is gone replace it. Believe mine is a 20Amp. If it's still there check to see if it's burned up. If so replace it and give it another try. Also check for loose connectors or broken wires.
