Quick question
Is there any way to increase the sensitivity of the break light so I don't have to press down so far for it to come on?

depending on the switch type, you could use a stiffer spring that's what i did on the yerfdog 3206
|

I've kinda looked at it. It looks like two wires that run into the oil reservoir which is right next to the break petal.

The switch should send 12 volts to the light as soon as it sences pressure. You may have play in the pedal befor rod is actuated.
