Default thinking of engine swap.

I have been thinking of switching out the gy6 in my baja dune 150 for a trx200sx motor like mr.metal did to his wifes yerf dog. I wondering if it will be very hard and if these engines are cheep.

Post #42 down is an example of one way to do it on your buggy!!!!

I've paid between $250.-$400. for these '86-'97 Honda's (the whole 4-wheeler) here in NC. Honda made LOT'S of this model with little change. I've bought 5 in the last 3 yrs, and found 1 engine for $50. Look for one that's trashed/wrecked to get it cheap/cheaper- You don't need anything but the running engine & wiring harness/electrical components. If you don't mind reading - earlier in the thread I showed how to make a sprocket carrier (which you'll need moved over)
