No Spark
Hi, new to the forum, hope i can get some help. I have a Carter 150 and have no spark, The cdi, coil and mag have all been replaced with parts from the manufacturer, wondering if maybe its in the stop switches. Can i bypass them somehow, or does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks

The kill switch is normally open. When you hit the kill switch it grounds the ignition kill it. Use a volt ohm meter to check your switches. Set it to ohms and with the kill switch in the normal position it should read open. You can than use the volt meter to check the ignition switch, these will go bad as well. Also check all wiring at the plugs, its common for the terminals to work there way out of the plug far enough not to make contact.
