Default Pulling/Jerking

Okay guys, I have a new problem/question.
I just noticed when I am coasting down a long hill it feels as if I am being pulled back in a jerking motion ( kind of like when you are pulling a trailer). I am guessing it has something to do with the torque converter maybe.

I think I know what it might be. The driven pulley is not perfectly aligned with driver. It is 1/8-1/4 off.

Yes. It also hesitated on acceleration. I assume all this is from mis-allignment I hope once I get this corrected that will solve those two issues. Then I will be putting on the 40 tooth drive sprocket, then I hope to be done for a while.

That mis-allignment may have contributed to the lack of speed/power.

I think it was my fault from the second time i pulled off driven pulley. I am fast now at removal and re-installation of it LOL.

It is doing better with a new green spring set in #3 hole. It is not a huge difference but a noticeable one.
Xlint I can't lie, I thought I ordered the compression tester but it still sits in my amazon shopping cart.
It is on my to do list. Do you know normal psi for this type if engine( 6.5 Hp robin subaru)?

Actually I do not. Most engine's like to be north of 100 psi though.

I just figured if you were getting say 80 or 90 psi, that the engine was starting to show signs of wear and may not be operating optimally.

And if your engine is running sub-par, you're not going to get good results from the kart.
