Default Hammerhead 150KT is slower

I have a Metal Motorsports 150KT (aka Hammerhead KT150). When new it could do about 30mph. Last couple years it has slowed down, top speed about 21mph. Other than oil changes and air filter cleaning, no other maintenance or mods done. I plan to pull the belt cover off and check the clutches. Anything else I should look at?

Time to adjust your valves.

Adjust valves, while the cover is off check the rollers to make sure they are not flat spotted, and make sure the belt isn't worn. The belts on these wear from the edges and will get narrower not allowing it to ride up as far in the pulley.
