FMF muffler
Any way to quiet down the FMF muffler i recently installed. This thing is a tad to loud for my liking.

Yeah, it sounds great, but with me running it through the neighborhood with the kids, i don't want any pissy neighbors. I wasnt sure if there was any way to quiet it down a little.

Mine was pretty loud too. Doubt there's any way to quiet it down without hurting performance. (the reason you most likely installed it) I've gone with the TK exhaust now. About the same performance as the FMF from what I can tell, but quieter and uses smaller jets.
If you're worried about the noise, maybe keep the stocker around for city riding, and install the FMF when you trail ride? Last edited by xlint89; 12-10-2012 at 09:20 PM. |

Can't you just repack the silencer?
