Default can i put back shocks on on the front of my 150cc gokart too

on 150cc gokart can i put back shocks on the front too. iis it to heavy or not

a friend of mine put his rear shocks on the front and likes them they were 1/2 in longer
than his orig fronts were. he says the ride is a lot better-he is putting punisher 2 on the
rear
