New Buggy...need upgrade options

Ok I just got my first 150cc buggy yesterday...its brand new basically its called a moutaineer but is pretty much a hammerhead. Its bone stock....I want more of the low end power so I can get up the steeper hills around here with ease and get to my hunting spots. I was thinking about ordering the 200cc big bore kit for it first off and maybe a 2000lbs torque spring for the clutch....will that help me out? Also if I add the big bore kit is there anything else that I have to get to make it run right carb etc.? Let me know what you guys think I should do. Thanks!!!

IMO- Uni-filter and open up the exhaust or buy a performance muffler would be the first thing to try,then see if a larger jet is needed.If that doesn't wake the motor up and still can't handle the hills I'd get some 10-12gram rollers or sliders,2000llb spring and see if that get's you the bottom end torque needed to climb the hills.If those fairly inexpensive upgrades don't give you the power you need then get the big bore kit.

Ditto: Be careful when buying parts, to get a 200cc you will need at least a 6mm stroked crank with a 62mm bore in which the case will have to be split and bored to give you a 196cc engine. Do just as metalstudman says and if you don't feel it is enough either a ported and polished head with a performance cam, or a 4 valve head will really wake it up. Stay away from cylinders larger than 59mm which claim to be drop in kits for the sleeve is too thin and the engine will not be reliable.

cool deal....yeah i saw the 200cc big bore kit on gokartsusa.com and it said no machine work was required and it was getting good reviews......
