Default Headlights

Hey y'all, it's been a while since I've really been on line. I had a busy summer and it's taken a little but to get back into the website. I'll be back on here a lot more now. Anyhoozel, my ASW Carbide came with 35w incandescent bulbs. I put 55w halogens in it. I just recently learned that you can put something like 3w LEDs in it which are supposed to be like crazy bright. Can anyone find just the LED bulbs that will fit on amazon.com for me?

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but check it out:

http://www.lc-led.com/View/itemNumber/355

Also, go to your nearest Pep Boys, or Advanced Auto. They have tons.

I wonder about some HID`s. The kits are cheap now and they would be hella bright. www.ddmtuning.com has kit for as low as $29. Think the starting draw on those kits is around 6 amps then backs down to 3.4 amps once they`re warmed up.

After looking at mine again, not sure an HID would fit in my stock housings. An LED bulb wight be a better way to go because of the limited space.

I know I've seen LED replacements at Pep Boys that look just like that.

On a side note, what the hell would melt the inside of a gas cap?

I know for a fact mine in Maryland does.

If it's not a far drive for you, just go check it out. I can't find them on their website though.

Well our pep boys in all the way on the other side of town. Autozone is much closer. I looked on the bulb and it has an "H3" on it. Is this helpful?

sorry, i didn't explain in more detail. the lights that draws .5 amps are my LED tail lights. my headlamps draw 1.2 and 1.4 amps each. the 1.2 amp lights are rated at 450 lumens and the 1.4 amp lights are rated at 900 lumens (which i would have over any 55w light). these are really bright and give off a pure white light, not a hazy yellow like an incondescent bulb. here are a couple pics of my headlights but the photos do not give them justice. the lower ones are the 450 lumens and the top ones are the 900 lumens.

here are the links to both lights i have on my buggy.

these are the lower lights. mine are the 81360
http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs...0469&langId=-1

here are the upper lights. mine are the 63821-5 (tractor plus)
they pop right into the rubber housing of any work lamp to replace the 35w incondescent bulb.

Guys, I just want a yes/no answer. Will these work?

http://www.virtualvillage.com/002510-519.html

And how bright would they be in comparison with 55w halogens?

UGH!!! That stupid site I tried to buy the lights from wouldn't accept my card so I bought them from another side. I'm frustrated because I really want these lights by Saturday because I'm taking it to my pastor's farm for a church activity... and I think Turkey bay is on Thursday.
