Default First time Hill Climbing in Georgia

I finally got to try my hand at hill climbing a few weeks back. I went to Union Point, Georgia to pick up a Joyner for my son and got to put it to the test at Durhamtown Plantation with some good friends from another site. What a beautiful place to ride. My only regret is that I could not stay longer to see the whole facility. For those of you who are close or just wanna check it out you owe it to yourself to go. It is a top notch facility with some nice challenging trails, hills, and a flat track area. Here are a few videos of my climbs.

Yeah had to ride about 5 miles out on the flat. It destroyed the rim and tire. Those are the stock shocks on that one, but my 09 has Walker Evans racing shocks on the front and man what a difference.

the dollar general has an 12v air pump for 10.00,ive had one for 5 years and still works great for small tires.it will air up a truck tire but you should give it a break to cool down if it gets hot.it will put 65 psi in my air tank.very small to,lol i dont know if you have a d.g. in your town.

You will have a blast. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it.

I carry one of these with me. I have used it to reseat a bead! I carry it in my fanny pack when riding the quad or in the tool box on the buggy.

That does look like a great addition to your tool box. I usually just give the tire a quick squirt of Brake Clean and throw a match at it. It will reset the bead faster than you can blink.
