Default Like To GY6 for rebuild

As you may have read, my current buggy engine is one of those danged GY6 B type for which I got a Big Bore kit that doesn't fit. I can't get a big bore for it.

I would like to find a GY6 short case engine that has the four bolt valve cover so I can put the Big Bore on it. It doesn't have to have a good jug or piston. It needs to be rebuildable.

Hey,
You might want to check out this store. The "B" gy6 i believe has the 57mm bolt spacing, and this place sells all sorts of hop-up parts for those motors.

keep in mind that the big bore kit you bought may require that the engine cases be machined oversize to fit it.

Pre-machined cases are available new.

I don't know if it would work, but if the rod, crank, oil pump and transmission parts from the 2-bolt engine will fit in a 4 bolt engine, a less expensive option might be to purchase the machined case sides and swap the 2-bolt guts along with your big bore kit.
