My first thought would be the coil since you mentioned a orange spark. That would cause un burned fuel to turn your plug black.

I didn't feel any real difference with the aftermarket "High Performance" coil & CDI over the stock replacements, but with your's having a weak spark a change could resolve your issues. The only other electrical part could possibly be the stator. I'd verify that all the electrical connections are good. ************* is where you can buy even A-arms (top arm's only is needed), If your buggy doesn't have the up-graded/3rd generation spindles I'd also look into a set. Since your first post was about Heims- is this modification on your list?

Here's one I found by doing the "search"
http://www.buggymasters.com/forum/sh...x+heim+upgrade
(I recommend using a 1/2" Heim with a 3/8" misalignment spacers)

Spindles & hubs usually aren't sold together. The hub fitting is based off the bearing type & size. The 3rd gen, spindle is set-up for the even A-arms and have a heavier-duty construction, the 1st & 2nd gen. spindles are set-up for un-even A-arms and need additional re-enforcement (when stock) for longevity. Since these spindles use a 5/8" bolt then finding a hub with a 5/8" bearing is needed.

Not likely your spark is causing your running issue. For the 125 main jet, did you put that in there or is that what was in the machine in factory form?

1-1/2" is pretty standard, this is the ones I bought, this let's you use a 3/8" machine bolt in the stock spindle:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2-x-1-2-20...item563fbb26b6
This particular set is plenty strong- you'll need 2 sets & 4 3/8" x 2" machine bolts (round headed allen bolt) from your local hardware store and nylon nuts.

The 3/8" misalignment spacers are tapered spacers that allow the Heim travel to move the maximum amount- not a simple spacer & well needed. I don't think you opened a can of worms!! but inspected the CVT transmission before a total failure!! The variator with the broken fins needs to be replaced as that is the only cooling feature on the CVT (very important). The clutch being rusted would make me research why- The CVT should be clean & dry (other than some belt dust). Keeping the CVT sealed (other than the breather) is important for longevity and proper performance. You need an impact wrench to remove the variator, and inspection of the rollers/sliders is needed to verify there isn't more damage. The fins being broke off probably occurred when some tried to remove it without an impact wrench.
