thank you guys! Im sure I will. Quick question. I purchased my buggy used from craigslist and its doing fine runs great, climbs great but when I drive straight I hear a choking sounds from the exhaust . Can this be a dirty carb? It doesnt die or anything but I kinda feel a small pull and the sound. Thanks guys

Welcome to the site. Since its quite likely that the carb had some ethanol gas left in it, there is a good possibility of it needing a good cleaning. When you say it happens when you drive straight, does this mean that its at wide open throttle? An easy check you can do is run it hard, cut it off and remove and inspect the spark plug to see what color it is. black is too much fuel, white is too much air, tan is just right. This will give you a better idea what to look for. Let us know your results.

As a rule of thumb, you should give it a going thru, just to check everything out! especially used, you can never tell what the last person did to it!

SLESTAK75 , bear, Thank you for the input guys. I will check the spark plug and see if I can take off the carb and try to give it a good clean . (never done this before) But I am a fast learner. Give me a few days and I will post the results. Have a good one!
