Default Add grooves to Rack.

I keep reading where people add grooves to their rack an pinion to improve the turning radius of their karts. Is there a guide anywhere to show how to do it? I am fairly handy but don't want to mess anything up.

Cool

Seen a post on this site I'm sure , or maybe a Youtube video . Measuring , Marking , and a Very steady experienced hand on a die grinder/cutoff wheel followed up with some fancy file work . Like sharpening your chain saw but with a triangular file , not a round .

Buggy Depot has the archives of the Yerfer.net site where all this is documented. A filter on this forum prevents me from pasting a link to mach70's original mod.

I ran 22" tall front tires and did not have room for a sharper cut in steering. You may want to see how much clearance you have before starting this mod.
