Default Making buggies in the U.S.A

Hi to all
Im really thinking about building buggies here in Texas and use American steel instead of the Mexico crap..i have a nice big shop to work out of so no over head on rent just electricity and supplies to build the buggies.
Im going to need investors if anyone would like to help out and hopefully make some money.let me know.also will need a parts supplier for the engines and other parts. I have a steel supplier lined up as of today...so let me know

As long as your supplier don't start using recycled metal cause that's what mexico and china uses. Then your off to a good start for stronger frames and american made...

Goldwinger, what type of karts are you looking to build? I have a crowdfunding campaign now trying to raise funds to start production of a 'rally' kart. How much of an investment do you need? Feel free to contact me at ben@racingdreamz.org.
Thanks

Don't know if you have checked into it yet but the buggies you build will have to be EPA compliant. From what I understand is even if you put in a EPA compliant engine it will not meet compliance once it is put into the buggy. An exception to this rule is if you are only building buggies for closed circuit racing. Back when Blade was bringing in the 250 buggies he would spend an average of 40,000 to get them compliant.
