Yerf Dog Scout
My buggy runs good but does not much power in forward gear.Going uphill you can have it full throttle or half throttle and the speed is the same. But when in reverse gear, you can spin the tires going uphill. So, No get up and go in forward but plenty of power in reverse. Any help would be appreciated.

Reverse gear typically has gear reduction so more torque. You'll notice the top speed in reverse is slower also because of it.

Pull the CVT cover, put rear up on stands put in gear and watch that belt moves to bottom of clutch pulley and to top of variator when accelerated. If everything is working as should pull air box and while looking in carb make sure the slide moves all the way up when accelerating. If that is working then your CDI is probably the problem.
