We got slammed last night too. Went out for ice cream, and the storm hit hard, hail and wind, couldn't see 10 yards in front of us to drive.
Trees came down, power lines down. Could not go back home.
Stayed at my mom's, but she had no power either.
Terrible winds, brought down trees that were solid, and the ground is dry!
Mom has her power back on, ours may be on soon.

I miss the L out of not having ice for a cold glass of water or pop!!!We had to throw all the food away that was in the frig and freezer and grocery stores had to throw thousands of $$$ away in milk meat and other stuff that won't keep unless it has to be frozen or refrig. They have no eletric to run the machines to do as such!!! mancoman

That sux with no power- spent 3 weeks after hurricane "Hugo" without all the stuff you're missing too. Ice was the most expensive item around and standing in line to get it was an all day event when a dry ice truck would roll in ($200. for a 30qt. cooler size block). Fuel was the next LONG line item several counties away. We're thinking about you-Hope they can get you powered up soon.

Kliff-I'm in your warm weather too !!! but it does cool down pretty quick driving in the wooded trails!!!!!
