Default Stupid Question(s)

Okay, I want to make sure that I am taking care of the Carbide. It has warnings all over it that you MUST change the Break in oil after 5 hours of use. To be honest, haven't really paid exact attention. I do know that we have gone through one tank of gas and that the ODO says about 40 miles or so on it.

Stupid Question#1: What is a good rule of thumb on how to determine the first 5 hours w/o an hour meter?

Stupid Question#2: What kind of oil filter does the Carbide use (the one that is on there is written in Chinese.

Well, I think it was at about 30 or 40 miles and I changed out the oil in my Carbide. When I did this, there was very little oil in it. The oil that comes with it doesn't last long, at all. If I were you I would change the oil on it now. As for the oil filter, I would take the one on it off and take it to an auto shop and have them match it up with one. And as buggymaster once said, "There are no stupid questions".
