Default how about different brands of torque converters?

anyone have any input on the gtc tc2 rated 8-13hp x 1 inch and bullet 1 inch torque converter 10 tooth. should i buy comet brand either the 40 or 44 series. i was leaning towards the comet 44 magnum if i have to buy the drive seperately. i like the convenience of bolting the mounting bracket to the hf 420cc 13hp engine. just looking for advice. thanks

Default some advice

I have the 40 series from comet on my kids go kart (i believe its a 7" driven). Jackshaft sprocket is a 9t, axle sprocket is a 54t, chain size is 420, tire size is 22x11-8.

Go kart climbs super steep hills and can do doughnuts in the dirt even with a live axle. Actual top speed is 40 mph. Put a Honda gx390 13 hp engine on it. Its a blast to drive.

Comet is the best brand... IMO, but I have a GTC /billet aluminum (for the smaller engines) on a mini bike and it seems to perform well.
