Anybody know what kind this one is ? Waiting for the guy to put a price on it . Don't recognize manufacturer .

Not sure, but I've seen that or a similar style before. Either on the interwebz or craigslist.
Looks like it's in decent shape. Is it a 150 or 250?

150 cc , guy supposedly wanted to sell it , but still waiting on price , and appointment to see it , probably changed his mind after he dug it out . Patiently Waiting ....

Didn't buy it yet , although it's now on C.L. for $900 BO . What's the deal with a B engine ? Parts availability , reliability/performance , Modability ( new word I just invented ) ?

Performance parts will not fit them, than there is Carter who in later years went with the SYM which is a B series engine made to Carters specs which do not match up with the typical B series engine so you have to go back to Carter for who is out of business, than there is the GS-Moon in which the common seriesB parts will not fit. There have been many no name buggies out there with the same results. I have a half dozen head gaskets customers sent me to match up and they just don't match anything out there. If you do have one of the odd balls and lucky enough to have one with external reverse you can always drop an A series in it, but if a Carter or GS-Moon you would have to refab the whole rear carrier and axle.
