Default Carter GTR parts replacements?

I recently purchased a Carter GTR and I've acquired a list of a few parts (all minor, thankfully) that I'll need, but the parts PDF doesn't give much information for compatibility with other parts from other brands, so I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what parts would fit well of this list:

1) CV boots (guy I bought it from said he used ones from Arctic Cat quads, can anyone be specific?
2) Handbrake cable (Just need to know if any common cables would fit this buggy)
3) Engine/Main power switch (how heavy would I need?)

I'm hoping to be able to get whatever parts I need from Royal Distributing or locally (Canadian Tire, local ATV Dealers. There are no buggy dealers around.) and I'd appreciate any input on what parts to get.

Thanks in advance,
-OTR

1. Any of the buggy brand boots will work. Hammerhead is popular in Canada and you should be able to find a dealer .
2. I'm not sure which cables will cross, but you can have a custom motorcycle shop build one if you have measurements and end termination requirements.
3. I suggest going to your local boating supply store for electrical switches that can handle weather. I believe the GTR uses a 20A main fuse, so any switch rated at or better will work.

1) Sadly the nearest Hammerhead dealer is over 2000km away so that's not really an option. Would one off of a quad fit?
2) I'll look into that, thanks!
3) Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I can get one of those with no trouble.
Thanks,

Here is the Napa Auto Parts part#686-1188 for the CV boot - You should be able to get cross matches off this number if Napa is not convient for you.

Can anyone recommend what type of gear oil to use in this buggy?

90w multi-weight in the transmission works well. It will shift smoother if you use a synthethic in colder weather riding.
