starts off real slow no rpms then gets faster?

have you tried cleaning the carb. ? Has it been a while since it was ridden before you got it, and if so did you drain all the old gas out?

Is there a difference between the time it is started and driven cold to when warmed up

no does same thing cold or hot. I have ordered new carb. hope this sloves the problem
