another redneck repair!!!
Ok here we go again, I had to put new front fenders on my daughters gk17 buggy, so I used the top half of a 5 gallon paint bucket with the reinforced ribs to accomplish this. I cut the lid off the top of the bucket, and then in half and sized to fit. Drilled the holes for the mounting screws, and it Worked like a charm. So what do u guys think of this idea!?

It's a good one. A lot of "buggiers" ))) use some type of trash can for front or rear fenders. I originally used some old heavy duty 55 gallon plastic chemical barrels before going to the golf club display rack pieces.

I found a set of fenders off the rear of an old ranch king lawn mower that fit perfect on a crossfire 150. There are even red. This weekend I might get some pics up, but just having them sitting in place they look like they belong on the buggy.
The paint bucket sounds like a good idea for my front fenders. |
