Default Quick question

How much oil do you use in the Carbide's transmission? Also, what is the weight of the oil? I guess that was two questions...

Most of them call for 10w-40w as mine does, I use 95w gear oil. Went back and looked at your pic's for the fill & drain bolts/locations. It appears your fill tube is the vent (rubber hose), the drain looks like a bolt in the very bottom of the case (still installed in your pic's). You'll need to check the manual for the amount and exact weight oil. My info is a label on the gearcase. I know it doesn't take very much oil, only covers about half the bottom gears.I use heavier oil to make sure that the gearbox doesn't get over heated and 95+ oil doesn't foam up as much when abused.
