Smile Spiderbox question

Did these have a cover over the solenoid, cdi, etc?

I have not seen one with a cover over it. Mine must be a earlier model-it has no brake switch, no clevis on brake rod where connects to master cylinder, etc

The airbox is freaking huge as well.

They came with an electrical box w/cover. ******** may still have the covers as I had to buy a couple. They also have the brake parts too. Get rid of the airbox and replace it with a Uni-filter or similsr pod type air cleaner.

Mine appears to have never had a clevis. Rod just bolts directly to master cylinder arm

Here's the top plastic cover: http://www.*************/item/Electri...ine-05712-4871
Here's the steel bottom: http://www.*************/item/Electri...ine-05719-6991

I'm curious how the rod bolts to the pivot arm- is there a hole in the rod with a bolt thru it for a swivel?

I looked at the parts diagram on the YD site. The 42101 or something close to that number has the same setup. Brake rod bolts straight to pivot arm at master cyl

Thanks
