Default Honda engine repair

Does anyone know of a place that can diagnose and repair old Honda atv engines? I have an 88 Honda trx200sx engine that I can’t get started and was wondering if anyone knew somewhere I could take it.

I work on them but I'm not near you. Are you getting spark? Has it been sitting awhile?

I have no spark right now. It was ordered off eBay so I’m not sure if it was sitting for a while. Guy said it was running and engine looks to be in great condition.

Sign up on quadcrazy.com and they have the service manual for it. Just a quick glance it looks like the 86-88 were the same model.

Yah that’s where I found the service manual and checked all that. I bought a new vid and new coil. But the rectifier I bought used

Just Google 1988 Honda TRX-200SX shop service manual, several sites will pop up, look for a download version be careful when it says free not worth the risk unless a well known forum. If you see tradebits.com that is a good one usually 14.00 and it will be an authentic Honda shop manual. You pay, download and you have everything right in front of you. It will take you step by step on diagnosing a no spark condition and will have the complete wiring diagram. I tried the link neo posted but "could not find page comes up". The 14.00 you will spend will save you at least that much in not needed parts.

I know this is way late in the game and thread- Did you find the problem? If you didn't get it resolved I might be able to help since this my engine of choice and I've buried and revived a few of them!
