what kind of motor are you talking about? like a briggs or a GY6 or a 454chevy v8? lol

Check craigslist. The good thing about your engine is you can pull the governor out of it and go a LOT faster. You can buy a brand new "yellow box stock" 6.5hp clone for about $175. If you were local, I have two 6.5's here both with the governor removed already that I am selling for $100 each.

I don't have any tires. Your go kart with out the governor should do around 40mph. That particular one I am not too familiar with for the sake of knowing how heavy it is but the weight will dictate how well the engine will carry it.

yeah race motor helps go that fast too worth 1500 but paid 300.(hell of a deal)
