not sure how fast it was, i think those karts go like between 25 and 30mph that was full out going down hill so he was moving pretty good

YEEHAA! lol
I had an old two-seater Kart when I was a kid... had no brakes, I had the front tires toed in, so I wouldnt coast much when I let off... Had a 5H Briggs on it, the throttle cable had snapped, so I ran the wire through a big piece of Dowel, and pulled it with my right hand, and steered with my left.... We had a drop off hill in front of my Grandma's house... by the time we were at the bottom of that hill it felt like were flying! And we probably were going about 30, 35... This video looks a bit faster...hahaha

the funny thing about this video is everyone says about how fast he is going which is true, but the reason i taped it on my phone was going down the hill (away from the camera) we would hit a bump and literally be airborne for about 8 to 10 feet you can kinda see it in the video when he lands there is a cloud of dust but it goes so fast its difficult to see. it wasn't until i put this on the computer that i realized the speed!

yea, those were the days......
way back when i built a straight axle go kart from an old lawn tractor and mounted a 10hp briggs from a parking lot blower on it. that S.O.B. was fast but man don't try and turn at full speed....i found out the hard way that the frame wasn't quite wide enough to handle it. oh well, live and learn right?
