Default mikuni carbuator

I was wondering if this mikuni carburetor would work with a hammerhead 250 with 250 main jet and 40 pilot jet here is the link to the carburetor itself http://www.leatherup.com/p/Street-Bi...Fag7Ogod0zQA8g
Thanks in advance a mikuni vm30-83

jets you're not going to know til you stick it on and run it. it should be a good top end power carb, don't think you'd want anything bigger on a 250. I dropped down to a 24 flatslide from a 26 roundslide (old suzuki 250) to enhance the bottom end. lost 10-15 mph up top but got what i need down low.

chad's the mikuni man at sudco, best person to talk to about setting these up, especially if you pick it up through them if ya know what i mean.

I think I'll eventually get a Mikuni for my 150. Too much invested in the pumper at the moment though.

Good to hear. How is your 150 treating you on the trails?

I like it. I can really hammer it through trails, my only gripe being with the suspension. I'm going to invest in some custom Works shocks.
