Default Go Kart wont move..need help

My son has a Ken Bar D-690 10hp. The right rear brake locked up. Now the tourque converter, chain, and sporcket move but the axle does not turn. Any ideas what might have broken and how to fix. I suspect it might be a pin or key. Help.

Looking at the pearts breakdown :http://kenbargokarts.com/parts_mr5prts.htm
you have a differential- is the brake un-stuck? if not unbolt the caliper and try to remove it. try and spin the axle, the tires should turn opposite each other. There will be a key in the disk rotor holder and the axle sprocket holder that can shear.

Go Kart fixed. Turns out the e-clip that held half of the axle to the differential broke. This caused the axle to move and bind the brake. So instead of and e-clip, I welded the axle. (not the half I have to get apart to replace the sprocket in the future) Thanks for your help.
