Default Need help on spindles

I am gathering parts for my dune buggy build but I dont know about the spindles I dont know if it is better to build them or buy them

Considering the cost of a good set of spindles, & the fact you are building from scratch anyway, you should just build your own.

Depends on what you need? Buying them is easiest of course assuming they can meet your needs in performance. Do you have your mental expectation list made?!!! What do you want it to do-

Okay! it needs to be really tough- basic weight of buggy,tire/wheel size,suspension & HP are the next factors to contend with when determining spindle size and arrangement. Will you be buying new or trying to use parts from something else?

I am going to build the frame and get used suspension, engine and tires but i will be building my a arms i thought of just useing some yerfdog spindles would you think those would be good.

I built my own, but it was kinda a bad idea. they broke a few times(due to my crappy welds). They seem to be ok now. if your getting a used suspension setup then I would get all the steering and wheel mounting hardware also. then you can modify it to work with your frame. Old atv or something? thats what Im looking for
