there are quite a few options. a lot would depend on experience. of course budget is another. hammerhead has a 150cc engine and are fairly easy to get parts, and are 2 seaters. there are similar versions with 6 to 10 hp engines but are a lot less sturdy.

so where do you find a hammerhead we live in indiana. also thanks for the replie these boys do ride 4 whelere and dirt bikes

Welcome- Are you wanting to buy new? What terrain will it be driven on? Only you or the parents know the kid's abilities- buying a full size buggy is always better as they won't outgrow it and Grandpa can drive it too! Try calling Tom @ SYC (click on the vendor top of the page- then go to "contact us"). If you're considering used- try Craigslist.com, you can find "near" new go karts/buggies there and skip the delivery fee's & be able to test drive it.

search around craigslist as mentioned, if you want to know about it being a good deal ask here, you should be able to pick up a decent used 150 buggy, price varies all over, Tom@syc is a good guy to deal with.
